Sean Levy

Sean is a junior currently working to earn his B.S. in user experience design. He is also currently pursuing a minor in psychology. One of his main interests as a designer is addressing systems of oppression in design through user-centric design practices and critical design theory. He hopes to apply this interest to designing infrastructure and public spaces. These spaces have many different minorities and groups overlap and have needs that should be heard and addressed. Currently, he is working on a research paper focused on evaluating historical religious architectural tropes. Specifically how they are still integrated into public infrastructure and if they make people feel welcome or excluded from these spaces. Outside of his academic work, he enjoys a variety of crafts such as knitting, crochet, embroidery, and sewing.
